North Metro Fire Rescue District’s Honor Guard was founded in 1995 for the purpose of rendering honors to deceased members of the fire service and for formal presentations of colors during civic and governmental ceremonies.
The team participates in numerous city events throughout the year and works with local law enforcement such as the Broomfield Police Department to fulfill honor guard requests.
North Metro Fire Rescue’s Honor Guard works with the Broomfield Police Department regularly on events such as Memorial Day in Commons Park and the Annual 9/11 Ceremony.
