Fire Suppression

North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to over 275 fires in 2016, including fires in the District and assisting neighboring fire agencies on additional fires outside of the District.

Crews devote hundreds of hours each year training in fire suppression in order to be ready to respond when the call comes. In 2016, North Metro Fire added additional firefighters in the northwest area of the District to support the growing needs of the area.
North Metro firefighters faced over 275 fires in 2016 ranging from residential structure fires to vehicle fires.
