Did you know that older adults are at high risk for falling and incurring an injury? It's hard getting older and facing some of the challenges that come with it. Whether health conditions impact your balance or you've lost some of your strength or mobility, falling is one of the top reasons for emergency calls involving older adults. The good news is that you can do something to help prevent falling in your home.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has come up with a checklist for adults to review at home in order to address hazards and minimize the risk of falling. We encourage all adults to complete this safety checklist annually.
