In order to deliver fire extinguisher training efficiently while reaching the most amount of people, North Metro Fire is offering training classes on the first Wednesday of each month at our Headquarters (101 Spader Way, Broomfield) for residents and employees within our fire district. These classes are free but require registration and proof that you live or work within our district. Each class will consist of a one-hour classroom presentation and 1.5-hour hands-on training outdoors.
Minimum Class Size Required
Classes must reach a minimum of five participants. If a minimum number of participants is not reached, the class will be canceled and participants will be contacted to reschedule for a future training. Max class size will be 20 participants in order to ensure the proper instructor-to-student ratio.
Larger Group Training Requests
If you are a business in need of a fire extinguisher training for 20 or more people, we encourage you to contract the services of a private company that provides fire extinguisher training for corporate groups.
North Metro Fire requires that participants in its fire extinguisher training classes either live or work within North Metro Fire's jurisdiction (Broomfield, Northglenn and unincorporated areas of Adams, Boulder, Jefferson and Weld Counties). If you do not live or work within the fire district's boundaries, please contact your local fire department for training assistance.

All classes are held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at North Metro Fire's Headquarters, 101 Spader Way, Broomfield, Colorado 80020.
