North Metro Fire Rescue District wants to ensure that all citizens have access to information and develop the skills to keep them safe through every stage of life. From presenting to Homeowner Association groups on safety in the home to educating seniors on high-risk injury areas, we cover a variety of topics with our adult education programs.

Safety Classes & Programs

CPR and Stop the Bleed Classes
North Metro Fire Rescue District offers classes that teach residents cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), how to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED), and how to stop bleeding from a traumatic injury.

Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Program
North Metro Fire will provide a household smoke alarm and/or carbon monoxide detector at no charge to senior citizens, residents of the District with limited income or residents with special needs.

North Metro Fire's fire and life safety education officer is available to present to groups on a variety of safety topics throughout the year.
