The North Metro Fire Rescue District Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that was established to fund various community initiatives that keep our citizens safe and support first responders who have been killed or injured in the line of duty. Donations made to the North Metro Fire Rescue District Community Foundation are tax deductible (TIN 32-0118626).

Funds are used to assist police officers and firefighters who have been killed or injured in the line of duty. In the event a first responder is killed in the line of duty, funds are used to support that individual's family.
Assists citizens with the proper installation and maintenance of auto vehicle restraint seats for children as well as solicitation for grant funds and donations to be used for the purchase of new child safety seats to be distributed to disadvantaged District residents.
Encourages AED unit placements in the community and CPR education.
Set up to create, fund, install and maintain a permanent memorial sculpture honoring the emergency service workers, law enforcement, firefighters and citizens lost as a result of the terrorism attacks on September 11, 2001.
