North Metro Fire Station 62

North Metro Fire Station 62 was built in 1967 and was significantly remodeled in 1989 for additional office space and a District Board Room. This station is home to three shifts of five firefighters and a battalion chief.

Station 62 primarily responds to an area covering the western portion of the City of Northglenn. In 2016, this station handled over close to 2,000 calls and provided advanced life support, fire suppression, hazardous material, rescue and wildland suppression services. The District’s 75-foot Aerial Truck resides at Station 62 and responds to all structural fires within the North Metro Fire Rescue District.
