North Metro Fire encourages all residents to sign up for their county's emergency notification system. Through the emergency notification system, registered users can receive critical safety information during an incident in their area via phone, email and text. Notifications can be sent during a range of incidents, including severe weather, a missing child, a hazardous materials emergency and other threats or incidents impacting the area. Depending on where you live, you will need to sign up for your county's notification system.

Broomfield residents who were previously registered with CodeRed were automatically enrolled to receive LookoutAlert notifications. However, residents are encouraged to log in to Smart911 and verify their information and notification settings are updated.
