Photo of the construction site of Station 61 Once the demolition was completed in December, construction crews have been working hard to lay the groundwork for a larger and updated North Metro Fire Station 61 on Midway Boulevard.

UPDATE (March 2, 2022)

The foundation has been laid. The underground plumbing is complete, and work on the underground electrical lines and site utilities is in progress. Additionally, the masonry work is being done on the station's apparatus bay, which will house the fire engine, ambulance and battalion chief vehicle. North Metro Fire is excited to see the progress on Station 61 and hopes continued good weather will help keep the construction timeline on track for completion in the fall.
