North Metro Fire Rescue District responds to nearly 12,000 emergency calls a year, providing fire protection, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response and technical rescue. While emergency response is at the core of North Metro Fire's mission, so is providing quality customer service, fire prevention services and life safety education to its residents.
North Metro Fire offers a variety of free or low-cost services to residents, including:
- Car seat inspections and safety checks
- Free - 1st and 3rd Saturdays (by appointment)
- CPR and Stop the Bleed classes
- Free Friends and Family® CPR classes without certification along with classes on how to respond to traumatic bleeding injury
- Mobile mammograms and breast screenings
- Free or low-cost depending on your insurance - Each fall
- Smoke alarm program
- North Metro Fire assists low-income families and seniors with installing smoke and carbon monoxide alarms for free in their homes.
