Honor Guard

The North Metro Fire Rescue Honor Guard was founded in 1995 for the purpose of rendering honors to deceased members of the fire service and for formal presentations of colors during civic and governmental ceremonies.

With the tragic 9-11 incidents of 2001, additional members were added to the team to be able to meet the increased demand for Honor Guard presence at ceremonies and services honoring fallen public safety personnel. The team is comprised of 12 total personnel and was outfitted with all new equipment in 2001.
