North Metro Fire Rescue works hard to bring meaningful programs and services to the citizens we serve. We also enjoy partnering with organizations and projects to provide events or programs that help make our community special! We hope that you will also support these great causes and rely on them if needed.
9 Health Fair
The 9-Health Fair is fast approaching, so mark your calendar for April 19, 2008. The event will run from 7:00 a.m. until noon and be located at the United Methodist Church, 545 W. 10th Avenue, Broomfield
The 9-Health Fair in Broomfield is sponsored and coordinated by the North Metro Fire Rescue District. A sampling of this year's screenings include, but are not limited to:
• Podiatry Screening
• Finger Stick Glucose
• Lung Function Screening
• Pulse Oximetry
• Body and Balance Assessments
• Breast Exams
• Rheumatoid Arthritis Pilot Screening
• Blood Chemistry Analysis
As the sponsor for the Broomfield 9 Health Fair, North Metro Fire Rescue also seeks volunteers age 18 or older to assist with this event. Medical training is not required to be a volunteer and lunch will be provided! Beginning in February, anyone interested in volunteering at this location should contact North Metro Fire Rescue at (720) 887-0404 ext.2261.
Community Food Drive
Each year North Metro Fire Rescue sponsors two Community Food Drivesone in the month of February and one in the month of August. Donations collected during these drives are used to replenish supplies at two local food banks that benefit the citizens of Northglenn and Broomfield.
Citizens are asked to donate canned goods or any non-perishable food items by visiting any one of North Metro Fire Rescue’s fire stations from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. Citizens who have questions about the food drive may call North Metro Fire Rescue Headquarters at (303) 452-9910.

Neighborhood Watch groups, and individual families
are welcome to make a scheduled tour time to visit any
of the five fire stations within the District. Please be
advised that you will need to schedule your tour a
minimum of two weeks in advance and should be
prepared with an alternative tour date at the
time of your call.

Age requirement: Must be 5 years or older
