North Metro Warns Parents About Dangers in Delaying Medical Attention June 8, 2005 At approximately 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday June 7, 2005, North Metro Fire Rescue was called to the scene of a burn injury involving an infant. While paramedics were traveling with lights and sirens to the scene, the 9-1-1 caller (a cable repair person) witnessed the parent rush the child to her car to go for help instead of calling 9-1-1 and waiting for first responders.

Liquor Store Fire - Update March 1, 2005 North Metro Fire Rescue Fire Investigators continue their investigation on the fire at Northglenn Liquors which began at approximately 11:47 p.m. on February 28, 2005. North Metro Investigators have removed various pieces of evidence to be sent to a lab to test for flammable and ignitable liquids. In addition, a test is still being conducted on an electrical outlet in the store.
I-25 Morning Collision February 28, 2005 At 2:51 a.m. this morning North Metro Fire Rescue responded to a confirmed vehicle fire on Northbound I-25 before the 104th Avenue exit. Upon arrival fire crews found one police vehicle on fire, a tow truck severely damaged and a semi-trailer that had rolled down an embankment.
Recall Issued on Multi-Purpose Barbecue Lighters February 10, 2005 North Metro Fire Rescue wants to encourage residents who own Kitchen Works multi-purpose barbecue lighters to discontinue use of this recently recalled product. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers about the multi-purpose lighters created by Arett Sales Corporation (ASC), of Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Owner Attempting To Rescue Pet Becomes Second Victim February 13, 2004 At 11:05 a.m. today North Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to an ice rescue involving a dog that had gone out onto Josh’s Pond (located in open space west of the Loc Amora subdivision).
