Message from the Chief

North Metro Fire Rescue District Residents:
As North Metro Fire Rescue reviews another eventful year of community growth and development, at the heart of all of our decisions and the priority for all North Metro personnel was the safety and professional service provided to our citizens.

In 2010, we had the pleasure of completing and opening the final infrastructure projects - a fire station and a new Headquarters facility - made possible through the support of our citizens with the passage of a bond in the 2006 Special District election. We ended the year with a decision to expand our emergency medical transport services into the City of Northglenn. Thus creating a District-wide, Fire-Based emergency medical services system to benefit all of our District residents and visitors.

As is normal each year, thousands of hours were spent honing emergency service skills that allow us to provide the best possible services to our citizens. Preparedness is essential in our goal for service excellence.

The future of the District’s emergency services in our community is solid and we thank you for giving us your support. We appreciate your demonstration of faith in North Metro Fire Rescue District and we are proud to serve as your provider.

In addition to our emergency services, we are committed to making our community safe through our prevention and education activities. North Metro invites your family to take a tour of their local fire station, have your blood pressure checked at our monthly locations, or participate in one of community sponsored events like the 9 Health Fair.

If you have any questions regarding the Fire District programs or services, please call the District’s office at 303.452.9910. Receiving your feedback helps us stay on course in providing excellence in all of our services!

Sincerely,

Joseph A. Bruce, Fire Chief

Fire Chief Joseph A. Bruce
