Fire Fighter Recruit

Currently North Metro Fire Rescue is reviewing DRCOG applications for entry Fire Fighter Recruit positions. The Fire District anticipates hiring Fire Fighter Recruits to begin a Fire Academy in April of 2010. 

Individuals who have taken the DRCOG examination within the last year with a minimum of a 70 score in each of the four categories and a paramedic certification will be considered for the next step in recruitment.  If you have not been contacted by phone or letter during the week of December 7, 2009, your application has not been forwarded to the next step.

Those individuals that are contacted will be asked to participate in an Assessment Center (written and oral board) during the week of January 18, 2010.  Those individuals who are successful in this process will be offered a Conditional Offer of Employment during the week of February 15, 2010—pending a positive outcome on each candidates background check, medical, psychological and agility testing.  If all steps are successfully completed, the candidate will then be accepted into the Fire Academy for April 2010.
