Randall Sullivan - President
Randall Sullivan has been a Broomfield resident for 10 years. With his experience as a public safety professional in both the fire service and with business enterprises, Randall founded and serves as President of Sullivan Associates, a minority (Cherokee) small business. He specializes in providing educational trainings and fire courses (i.e. CPR/AED) to the government sector as well as courses in trench/electrical/hydraulics, etc.  His fire service career spans 15 years as a retired Fire Captain from Rocky Flats and a former Fire Medic. During hurricanes Katrina and Rita, he served in Washington, D.C. as a transportation specialist for FEMA. He currently is assisting writing a book with Kristin Anderson, a professor at the University of Memphis. Randall has served on the North Metro District Board since May 2006.

Dennis Day - Vice President
Dennis Day was born and raised in Englewood, Colorado and is currently a Broomfield resident. He served in the Army for three years prior to beginning his firefighting career with North Metro Fire Rescue District (formerly known as West Adams County Fire Protection District). Dennis retired as the Fire District’s Deputy Chief in January 2007. Dennis has raised three sons and two daughters with his wife Barbara. Dennis has served on the North Metro District Board since May 2008.

Robert Kammerzell - Treasurer
Robert is a Colorado native and has resided in Northglenn for over 22 years.  He served for four years in the United States Coast Guard before beginning his firefighting career which spanned over 29 years. While in the fire service, he served as a firefighter, paramedic, Lieutenant and retired as a Captain. Currently Robert works for the City of Northglenn’s Water Department.

Richard Perse, II – Secretary
Richard is a Colorado native and Broomfield resident. He served with West Metro Fire Dept. (Bancroft Fire) in the mid-1980's as a Fire/Paramedic. In 1989, he formed HeartSmart, Inc. to provide businesses, schools, and individuals with emergency training. He has been an AED implementation specialist for Philips Medical since 1997 and consulted with many municipalities (Boulder, Loveland, Commerce City, Larimer County and others) to develop their Public Access Defibrillation programs. Richard served a previous Board elected term from 2002-2006. He has now been serving a second term since May 2008.

Robert Nielsen – Assistant Secretary
Robert Nielsen has been a Broomfield resident for 4 years. With over 40 years of Fire Service experience, Robert’s career began in the U.S.A.F. in 1961. He spent approximately 28 years with the Oak Brook, IL Fire Dept., rising through all ranks, and retired as Fire Chief in 1997. He then spent another eight years with the Westmont, IL Fire Dept., as their Accreditation Manager. In 2009, he was awarded the status of Fire Chief Emeritus by the Illinois Fire Chiefs Assoc. He was also the former Chairman of the Lemont Fire Protection District Fire Commission, also in Illinois,  where he served two terms. He has been a presenter at both the State and National level on the subjects of Management, Certification, and Code Enforcement along with having over 25 articles published on these topics, in recognized Fire Service trade journals.  Robert has raised two children with his wife Jackie. Robert has served on the North Metro District Board since May 2010.
